Assistant Accountant

As our business goes from strength to strength, we’re on the lookout for a skilled individual to join our team as an Assistant Accountant.

Job Summary

The role will support RE:GEN Group’s accounting department with their day to day functions, primarily focussing on the RE:geon Training side part of the business using Sage 50. This position would suit an individual with all round experience in accounts, bookkeeping and purchase/sales ledger.

Daily Responsibility

  • Prepare monthly and annual reconciliations
  • Processing of period end journals
  • Preparation of budgets and month end reports
  • Fixed asset journals and monthly depreciation
  • Prepayments and accruals
  • Assist with Statutory returns
  • Assist with year end accounts and Audit

Experience / Skills

  • Ideally AAT Qualified or working towards ACA/ACCA qualification
  • Previous experience in accounts, bookkeeping and purchase/sales ledger
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Competent IT skills
  • Confident and organised
