As our business goes from strength to strength, we’re on the lookout for a skilled individual to join our team as an Electrician.
Job Summary
This role will provide an effective service through the installation, maintenance and repair works of electrical systems across a range of domestic and commercial settings. You will be provided with a company van.
Daily Responsibility
- Carry out pre-installation building inspections (PIBI’s) in line with PAS2030
- Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical control, wiring and lighting systems.
- Inspecting transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
- Follow local building regulations.
- Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
- Drafting electrical installation plans and technical diagrams, technical surveys, and ensure all health and safety requirements are met.
- Carry out site inspections and internal audits to ensure compliance with MCS and PAS2030.
- Efficiently complete work orders and record materials that are used on each job/project.
- Complete risk assessments and method statements.
- Advise management on when to replace any electrical equipment to prevent hazards.

- Review and evolve our design process (where required) in line with relevant industry standards.
- Understand and apply electrical installation elements of PAS2035, PAS2030 and building regulations.
- Maintain and build relationships with colleagues, consultants and subcontractors.
Essential Skills
- Qualified to BS7671 18th edition (amendment 2) and C&G 2391 testing inspection
- 2+ years of experience preferred
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Good writing and presentation skills
- Able to use MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Good interpersonal and strong communication skills
- Strong time management skills, allowing switching between a variety of tasks and meeting a combination of daily, weekly and monthly deadlines.
- Must be analytical and problem solving
- A flexible, self-motivating and agile attitude
- Attention to detail and accurate record keeping skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, creating a team spirit
