Two of our regional teams—RE:GEN North West and RE:GEN Yorkshire and East Midlands—have secured places on the new Fusion21 Decarbonisation Framework, worth up to £1.5 billion over the next four years.
This appointment means RE:GEN can now work with Fusion21 members across the public sector to deliver a wide range of government-funded decarbonisation programmes, including the Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund (WH:SHF) Wave 3 and future phases (formerly SHDF).
Under the framework’s Lot 1 – Whole House Retrofit, RE:GEN will support the delivery of measures such as:
- External wall, cavity and loft insulation
- Draught proofing and airtightness
- Ventilation upgrades
- Renewable energy systems, including solar PV and air/ground source heat pumps
- Internal and external whole-house refurbishment works.
These services will be available to clients across the North East, Yorkshire and Humber, East Midlands, West Midlands, and North West regions.
With more than 4,500 homes already upgraded via SHDF funding, RE:GEN brings proven expertise in sustainability, project delivery, and delivering social value at scale.
Ed Carroll, Managing Director of RE:GEN North West, commented: “Being appointed to this framework is a great opportunity for both teams to expand our delivery capability and collaborate with new and existing clients on WH:SHF Wave 3.
“We’ve already delivered thousands of upgrades through previous SHDF programmes across the Group, and have a strong, results-driven approach that helps clients meet their decarbonisation goals.
Tim Wood, Managing Director of RE:GEN Yorkshire and East Midlands, added: “At the heart of this work is a shared commitment—to make sure people live in warmer, healthier homes. We’re excited about what’s ahead and welcome conversations with anyone interested in how we deliver impact through retrofit.”
The Fusion21 Decarbonisation Framework is a key enabler in achieving long-term zero-carbon goals.
It supports emissions reductions, energy cost savings, and improved housing standards, while also prioritising the growth of green skills, local employment, and training opportunities—values that align closely with RE:GEN’s mission.
