RE:GEN Group is excited to announce the appointment of Ruth Dent as the new Director of Asset and Customer, a newly created role within the company.
Ruth joins us with a wealth of experience from both private and public sector organisations, bringing a customer-centric approach to everything she does.
Most recently, Ruth served as the Director of Asset and Compliance at believe housing, where she led investment programmes designed to deliver positive outcomes and memorable experiences for customers living is social housing homes. Ruth has also held key roles in housing associations across the South of the UK, working in both in-house and consultancy positions.
Throughout her career, Ruth’s passion for problem-solving, leveraging data, and ultimately enhancing the customer experience has been a driving force behind her success.
Reflecting on her move to RE:GEN, Ruth said: “I’ve known and worked with the RE:GEN team for a while through my role at believe housing, and was really excited about the opportunity to join the team. I’ve always admired their collaborative approach, dedication to solving problems and finding proactive solutions. What’s always stood out to me is their unwavering commitment to deliver the best service for their clients and the end customers.
“When I think about my role here, it’s clear that I can have a significant impact on shaping that service even further and making sure we’re really aligned to the wider goals of the sector and delivering a positive and meaningful experience.”
A key passion for Ruth is helping the social housing sector achieve its decarbonisation goals. With the announcement of Warmer Homes Social Housing Fund – Wave 3 Funding imminent, she sees this as a crucial part of her mission at RE:GEN.
“Having faced the challenges of decarbonising homes firsthand, I’m determined to help others and share my learnings. My focus is on making the process as simple and straightforward as possible and ensuring we create real, lasting value. Ultimately, it’s about making a tangible difference to people’s lives, and that’s what drives me every day.”
