RE:GEN complete £1m of home improvement works for Darlington Borough Council
A six-month contract that has seen improvements to more than 50 homes in Darlington has come to an end.
RE:GEN was appointed in January by Darlington Borough Council to undertake a variety of external works to some of its 5,600+ housing stock.
Work to 54 properties included lintel replacements, repairs, improved brick arches and replacement of header coursers on downstairs windows, cavity wall tying, grinding and repointing and new canopies.
Paul Des-Forges, Project Manager for Darlington Borough Council, said: “We’ve had a positive experience working with the team at RE:GEN this year.
“All work carried out has been done to the council’s satisfaction and our tenants are happy with the improvements made to their homes.”
RE:GEN CEO, Lee Francis, said: “It’s been a great partnership with Darlington Borough Council and it’s always rewarding to hear that our teams are delivering high quality work that’s appreciated by all involved.
“We look forward to working with the team again in the future.”
