We couldn’t be prouder of our team at RE:GEN North West who were crowned Contractor of the Year at this month’s Northern Housing Awards!
The award recognises organisations that demonstrate innovation, collaboration, customer excellence and meaningful community impact. Judges highlighted businesses that consistently go above and beyond for both clients and customers — qualities that RE:GEN North West has embedded into its delivery approach since launching just three years ago.
The achievement marks a significant moment for the business, which has rapidly established itself as a trusted partner for housing providers across the region, delivering capital works, compliance and decarbonisation programmes with a strong focus on customer experience and social value.

Operating with a 100% focus on the social housing sector, RE:GEN North West has continued to grow its presence across the region since its inception in 2023.
Highlights from the award win included:
- Consistently achieving customer satisfaction scores if 90%+ across projects
- The creation of ‘Beyond the Doorstep’ – a contractor-led programme delivering immersive, accredited customer excellence training designed specifically for social housing delivery at scale
- A leader in social housing retrofit, responsible for approximately 35% of UK social housing retrofit delivered in the North
- Developing employer-led training pathways through the RE:GEN Academy to reduce reliance on volatile labour markets while improving quality and social value outcomes
- Delivering a blended delivery approach that aligns multiple workstreams into one coordinated programme
The Northern Housing Awards were launched in 2018 with a mission to shine a light on individuals and organisations who make it their mission to improve homes and communities in the North.
