To mark the start of a new financial year, filled with new goals and thriving ambitions, the RE:GEN family stepped out of the usual working-day environments and met for an afternoon at Ramside Hall for the latest Business Update – one which was bigger and better than ever before!
As you’ll all know by now, we believe that everyone from the top down and bottom up needs to be informed about what’s going on, not just companywide but across the GROUP as a whole as we continue to grow and evolve at a rate even, we didn’t think was possible at the beginning. With so many new faces who’ve joined our family in recent weeks to support with the increase in client wins and project deliverables, the Business Plan (or BP’s as we call them) are the perfect opportunity to bring everyone together in ONE ROOM to celebrate our successes and share in our learnings. It’s fair to say, this BP was without doubt, our most special yet!
Hosted in the grand Ballroom at Ramside Hall, the BPs are always a major event in our corporate calendar but the sheer amount of achievements and positive news stories that we needed to get through this time will certainly take some beating. (It’ll come as no surprise to hear that we were still adding hot off the press news to the slides just seconds before we started with new wins and fantastic client feedback).
Jonathan Horner, Operations Director, RE:GEN Group
The presentations began with our number one priority – Health & Safety as Operations Director Jonathan Horner provided an important update. Jonathan had the pleasure of sharing news of our outstanding health and safety achievements across the board in the last 12 months with a real focus on making this our norm as we continue to lead our industry.
Lee Francis, CEO, RE:GEN Group
The cultivation of a positive Health & Safety culture wasn’t all we celebrated as Lee Francis, CEO of the Group walked us through the long list of targets for 2021 that we (quite frankly) smashed out of the park before laying some really exciting projections for 2022/23 as we embark on our next phase of growth thanks to an impressive portfolio of secured business already in place. Here’s just some of our greatest achievements for 2021:
- Recruited a Senior Management Team
- Established the new RE:GEN brand
- Defined our culture
- Won projects with all key clients
- Exceeded turnover expectations (and then some!)
- Launched the RE:GEN Academy
- Continued to hire and retain the best talent in the region taking us to a headcount of over 100
- Accelerated our Sustainability efforts
- Expand as a Group
As part of our expansion plans for the Group, and something which has been hot on Linkedin for the past couple of weeks has been our recent acquisition of local training provider Geon, and launch of our joint venture – RE:geon Training. RE:geon Training will act as pre-employment training for the group and will directly feed into our renowned RE:GEN Academy.
Nadia Scott, MD, RE:geon Training
Nadia Scott, along with her fantastic team joined us at the BP for the first time. It was an honour to have them with us as part of the day and on behalf of all at RE:GEN, we are filled with immense pride to announce them as key members within our ‘family’. Together Nadia & Lee shared the inspiration and vision behind the partnership, showcasing some real game changers that led us to be where we are today. Coupled with a few interactive games of Bingo between presentation sets, the room certainly felt electric!
And if that wasn’t all, Brin Sheridan, our Group Chair, along with Gill Main, Health & Wellness Partner also had an announcement to make, as we launched our very own, and truly unique People Engagement Process. A framework which really does pay homage to our desires to do things differently.

Gill Main, Health & Wellness Partner
We believe that there’s a direct link between the experience our people have working for RE:GEN and the ultimate experience we provide for our clients and customers. Our People Engagement Process works hard to tap into every stage of that journey, by taking time to truly understand what our team needs to thrive and uncovering the desired behaviours and core competencies that follow as a direct consequence of our Values.
As the day came to a close, and before the bottles began to pop, we wrapped up the session with a series of staff awards. Whilst all of Team RE:GEN are winners in our eyes for their trust, loyalty, dedication and commitment, some stars have truly shone in recent weeks, and to recognise them for their efforts was simply incredible.
We want to thank you each and every member of the RE:GEN Group for continuing to #BePartOfTheJourney. We couldn’t do it without you!
