Gateshead based regeneration specialist RE:GEN Group have been appointed by housing provider Thirteen to transform three supported living schemes in Hartlepool and Durham.
The company, appointed via the Prosper contractor framework, will take the role as lead contractors in the refurbishment of two community centres in the heart of Hartlepool at Ardrossan Court and Burbank Court.
Some refurbishment work will also be carried out to School View, a young parents scheme in Durham.
A range of work will include a full refurbishment to the community centres, including plumbing and heating, electrical upgrades, new kitchens, windows, doors, roof improvements and interior decoration and flooring.
The £500,000 project is expected to start on site this month and will be complete by the end of this year.
