The retrofit project focused on upgrading homes with energy-efficient measures designed to reduce carbon emissions, improve the energy performance of the housing stock, and provide tenants with more comfortable and energy-efficient living spaces.

We have successfully completed a project to transform the heating systems at Heaton Park Court, a pioneering project that marks the first high-rise in the city to combine external wall insulation and new windows to reduce energy demand.

Martin's role spans our core activities across the North East, North West, and Yorkshire & East Midlands regions. He’ll also be overseeing our SHEQ and sustainability functions across the Group.
